The Social and Environmental Impact Business Toolbox (Toolbox Nisa) is an online platform, with free access and available in three languages (Portuguese, English and Spanish). Its aim is to promote entrepreneurial activity for generating social and environmental impact. The platform provides management tools for the design, development and management of businesses with social and environmental impact.

Its development was linked to 2 projects conducted by the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo (Ifes), Viana campus, in partnership with the Micro and Small Business and Entrepreneurship Development Agency (Aderes) and the Espírito Santo Research and Innovation Support Foundation (Fapes), under the coordination of professor and researcher Dr. Adonai José Lacruz, between 2021 (Resolution nº 270/2020 - Inovamercado) and 2024 (Call DI 011/2022 - ADERES/FAPES).

Toolbox Nisa is licensed under a Creative Commos Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-CN-AS 4.0). In essence, it is permitted (as long as [1] due credit is given, [2] there is no commercial purpose, and [3] it is shared under the same license) to copy and redistribute any part of Toolbox Nisa in any medium or format; and, remix, transform and develop new materials using Toolbox Nisa.

This initiative is expected to impact the business ecosystem with social and environmental impact, aiming to contribute to the advancement of citizenship and fostering economic, environmental, and social development globally, by encouraging the creation and management of businesses aimed at solving social and environmental problems.
